Standard 1" Tri-Grip Cast Iron Weight Plate

Standard Weight Plates are an effective form of free weights for use as part of your strength training. Used with a Standard Barbell, you can perform a huge range of exercises to target different muscle groups. With weight discs available from sizes 1.25kg up to 25kg, Standard Weights are recommended for all users, catering to all abilities and strengths.

There are various types of weight plates to suit your preferences. Standard Iron Weights are made of cast iron and are extremely durable. Featuring a handy easy pick up design, Tri-Grip Iron Weight Plates are a handy alternative for faster weight changes or if you wish to use the weight for exercises without the bar, such as triceps curls.

Rubber Encased Weight Plates have the benefit of absorbing noise, making them far more quiet if dropped. Standard Vinyl Weight Plates, which feature a hard plastic surface, have the same benefit. Both are also safer - dropping a cast iron weight on your foot is more likely to cause an injury. This is why these are particularly recommended  for beginners to weight training.

Standard Weight Plates feature a 1" or 2" diameter central hole and fit Standard Bar or Olympic Bar only.
